Hall of Fame Updating

The Hall of Fame continues to be a great success as every home match sees fans of all ages reading up on the Blackpool heroes of the past. This summer will see us bring the Hall of Fame right up to date with the additions of Shaun Barker, Wes Hoolahan, John Murphy, Brett Ormerod and Keith Southern. As well as this, our Ultimate section will be put together with the best Blackpool XI, as chosen by BSA members, taking pride of place.

There are still sponsorship opportunities for some of the Hall of Fame photos. Of the 2000s section, John Murphy and Shaun Barker's pictures are still available to sponsor at a cost of £80 each. For the Ultimate section, Alan Wright, Glyn James, Harry Johnston, Alan Ball and Jimmy Hampson can be sponsored at a price of £100 each. Please contact Vice-Chair Fiona Martin here for further details.

Wembley Winners Way

Everybody knows of Blackpool FC's proud record at the country's national stadium - as well as our 100% record at the Millennium Stadium! To pay tribute to our achievements at both grounds a display of pictures and memorabilia will take pride of place in the South-West corner within the Bloomfield Road concourses. From FA Cup wins to Play-Off victories, we hope fans will be able to enjoy the memories for years to come. We are currently sourcing a few final items for the display before it is opened in the early part of the 2013-2014 season.

Supporters Summit 2013

Supporters Direct and the Football Supporters’ Federation are holding a Supporters Summit at The FA’s National Football Development Centre at St George’s Park in Burton on 22nd June 2013, and BSA will have representation at the event in order to not only put our views forward but also to discuss the thoughts of supporters associations from other clubs. The event will see fans from around Britain and Europe heading to Burton to analyse a range of issues affecting the supporters of the beautiful game. Outcomes from the summit will be discussed in detail at our first committee meeting of the new season as we look to ensure we continue to represent our members across all aspects of football in the best way possible in the coming months.

Members Survey 2013

We have received hundreds of responses to this year's members survey and we thank all those who have taken to time to give us their opinions. The deadline for the survey has not yet passed, and those who have been contacted with information about the survey (members who have provided email addresses) still have time to have their say. The results will be analysed and discussed at our next committee meeting, with your responses helping to shape how we go about our work representing our members in the future.

Meet The Manager Night

Plans are progressing to make the long-discussed Meet The Manager event come to fruition in the early part of the new season, with Paul Ince now fully settled in to his work at Blackpool FC. Our last event with Ian Holloway was a roaring success, and although Ollie has since left none of the people who were there on that evening will forget the impact he made on the supporters present that night. Keep an eye out on this website and on Twitter for further details.

EA Sports are looking for knowledgeable Blackpool fans who can provide expert feedback on the team and players in the FIFA video game series. To register your interest, please visit the FIFA Talent Scout website here.

As the summer progresses, we will be able to reveal one or two more events that are currently being planned in conjunction with the club. We hope all of our members, and Blackpool fans around the world, have an enjoyable summer!
